About Us

Lorfelix began with a simple idea, that the right lamp changes how a whole room feels. We are a small UK shop and we pick every piece the way you would pick it for your own front room, for the warmth it gives off, the way it looks switched off, and whether it will still feel right in five years.

We are not a warehouse and we are not trying to sell you everything. We stock a short, considered range of table lamps, and we would rather explain honestly why one suits your room than push you towards the most expensive thing on the page.

Our Vision

We want good lighting to stop being an afterthought. Most homes are lit from a single bulb in the ceiling, and it flattens everything. Our vision is that every home in the UK has at least one lamp in it that makes the room feel calmer the moment it goes on, and that owning one does not require a designer's budget or a designer's eye.

Our Mission

We get there by keeping the range small and the standards fixed. Every lamp we list is chosen for three things: the quality of the light it actually throws, the honesty of what it is made from, and whether it will still look right years from now.

That means real materials rather than printed imitations, ceramic, wood, rattan and woven linen shades. It means we turn down more lamps than we take. And it means clear photography and plain descriptions, including the exact dimensions, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Customer Service

Everything you might need to know before or after ordering is here in one place.

Delivery

  • Delivery is free on every order within the United Kingdom.
  • Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days, Monday to Friday.
  • Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 5 to 8 business days.
  • We deliver within the United Kingdom only. We do not ship internationally at this time.
  • You will get an email with a tracking number once your order is on its way.

Returns and refunds

  • You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a return.
  • Items must come back unused, with any tags still on, and in their original packaging.
  • Email us at support@lorfelix.com and we will send you a return number and instructions.
  • Return postage is yours to cover, unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong thing, in which case we cover it.
  • Changed your mind straight after ordering? Email us within 24 hours and we will cancel it for you.

All payments are processed securely through Shopify's encrypted checkout. We never see or store your card details.
